Everybody loves a good chocolate cake and this is my go to recipe for whenever I crave an all chocolate cake. The sponge is really moist and I love to melt some milk chocolate in a swiss meringue buttercream for some ultimate fluffy decadence!
I love Madeleines! I think they are the perfect treat next to your afternoon tea or coffee, and they are really easy to make.
You can do the classic buttery recipe, or fill them with lemon curd, but I wanted to flavor them with passion fruit and poppy seeds. It is a really lovely combination, sweet and sour, and for an extra indulgence you can cover them in white chocolate like I did.
